Adam is the Director of Research at RethinkX and a member of the NavigateX Research Advisory Board. He is an environmental social scientist and technology theorist whose work focuses on the speed, scale, and implications of technology disruption across energy, transport, and food systems.
His recent research has centered on how new generation and storage technologies are transforming the economics of these sectors, and on the broader societal implications of the disruption that follows. He is the author of Brighter, a study of the technological transformations underway, and a regular contributor to RethinkX's flagship reports and public-facing research program.
Adam brings to the Advisory Board a decade of experience as a teacher, lecturer, and public speaker. He presents research regularly on television, podcasts, and at international conferences. His work anchors the science underneath several of NavigateX's most consequential models.
He holds an MS from the University of Michigan and a PhD from UCLA.
