Bradd is a member of the NavigateX Research Advisory Board and a longstanding member of the RethinkX research team. He brings two decades of expertise in complex systems analysis and modeling, with a particular focus on the computer simulation methods (system dynamics and Monte Carlo simulation) that make it possible to understand how a complex system behaves over time and under uncertainty.
Before joining the RethinkX research team, Bradd designed scientific instrumentation for Arctic deployment and studied the effects of climate change on physical environments. That work gave him a deep working understanding of environmental and natural systems, which now informs his contributions to the energy and food-system models that NavigateX uses.
He holds a PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.
